    Monarch Casino Black Hawk has an immediate opening for Warehouse Supervisor.

     

    The Warehouse Supervisor’s main responsibility is to safeguard the assets of the warehouse, to receive, maintain and deliver inventory following proper policies and procedures, to maintain an accurate and up-to-date tracking of all inventory and to supervisor the warehouse team.

    Responsibilities

     Key Essential Functions

    • Control warehouse inventory.
    • Accept and Inspect deliveries of inventory for quality and accuracy of specifications.
    • Verify purchase requisition to purchase order, double checking quantity and quality of goods.
    • Accurately complete receiving worksheets and receivers, and receive in S/W data base.
    • Assemble voucher packets, then forward to purchasing assistant for review.
    • Ensure daily checklists are completed accurately and fully.
    • Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety of warehouse.
    • Maintain non-inventory levels of stock (i.e., propane, Co2, etc.)
    • Complete Monthly physical cycle count inventories of warehouse.
    • Update the inventory tracking system.
    • Coach TM’s as needed for success.
    • Scheduling of Team Members.
    • Strong verbal and written communication with management of all departments.

    • Receive and release inventory with 100% accuracy and the highest levels of service.
    • Complete all paperwork on time and correctly.
    • Enhance interdepartmental communications & relationships
    • Enhance cross property relationships (A/P, Purchasing & Warehouse) being prime focus.
    • Maintain & Update the following:
    • Safeguard the physical inventory with zero inventory variances.
    • Inventory tracking that is 100% accurate and up to date.
    • Department Job Descriptions
    • Departmental Policies & Procedures
    • Trash Compactor Trainings
    • Cardboard Baler Trainings

    Qualifications

    Job Qualifications - Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

       

    • Able to obtain/maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
    • Ability to identify and maintain sensitive/confidential information.
    • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest, vendor and team member service as it pertains to the warehouse.
    • Regulations – Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
    • Chemicals – Knowledgeable of onsite chemicals and their proper use.
    • Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision-making.
    • Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem; only recognizing there is a problem and relaying the information to supervisors.
    • Information Ordering - The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
    • Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
    • Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material - Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
    • Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
    • Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, evaluating job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
    • Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
    • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
    • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
    • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling director to discuss need for repairs.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

     

    Education or Formal Training:

    • High School Degree.
    • Five years of previous experience in warehouse management and asset tracking.
    • Preferred knowledge of Inventory Processing Systems.
    • Intermediate level of skills with Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
