Atlantis Casino Resort Spa has opened a new Banquet Expeditor career opportunity
The Banquet Expeditor will be responsible for maintaining and organization of the banquet china and glass room. This position will oversee the event pulls, act as the communication between kitchen outlet for equipment needs per each function, and the coordination of banquet back halls. The Banquet Expeditor will work closely with the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Supervisors, Stewards, and Banquet kitchens.
•Maintain complete knowledge of all departmental and property policies, service procedures and standards,
•Maintain positive employee relations at all times.
•Be familiar with hotel services and features.
•Organization of Banquet china rooms.
•Prepare and provide monthly inventories of china, glass, and silverware.
•Review daily BEO’s to complete daily pulls for each event.
•Assist on monthly equipment par levels.
•Provide Banquet kitchens with daily equipment pulls.
•Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
•Work closely with Banquet Supervisor for server support during each event.
•Monitor, deliver, and assist with deliver of food hot boxes and entrée special(s).
•Attend weekly Set-Up meetings.
•Maintain orderly and clear banquet back halls.
•Strong organizational skills.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Banquets/Catering or Food & Beverage.
•Alcohol Awareness Card
