Come join Team Atlantis! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Clerk to join our Warehouse team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting the receiving process, and ensuring all goods and materials are properly documented and reconciled.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse role—not a desk job. You’ll work closely with Receiving, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable to ensure all vendor invoices, packing slips, and inventory transactions are accurate and properly processed.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and match all receiving paperwork to vendor invoices; identify and document variances when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Receiving and Purchasing teams to reconcile discrepancies and prepare completed invoice packages for Accounts Payable processing.
  • Check all warehouse orders for accuracy before delivery and obtain authorized departmental signatures.
  • Manage and document product returns from departments, coordinating proper adjustments.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts of all warehouse inventory areas alongside the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
  • Perform and document cycle counts for retail and specialty areas including:
    • Spa/Salon, Gift Shop, and Sundry Shop
    • Bistro Napa and Atlantis Steakhouse wine inventories
    • Counts must be completed with the respective department management present.
  • Participate in monthly food inventory counts for all Atlantis restaurants and assist with monthly bar counts for beer, wine, and liquor inventories.
  • Create, maintain, and update ADD/DELETE item numbers for stocked inventory.
  • Manage and maintain all master files in the Stratton Warren System (SWS) for the entire company.
  • Ensure that company-wide inventory procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and document findings with written explanations and signatures from both Inventory Control and the associated warehouse personnel.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

  • Physical stamina and dexterity required for hands-on inventory work (kneeling, lifting, bending).
  • Ability to remain on your feet for several hours at a time.
  • Must be able to handle and move heavy items during inventory counts or order verifications.
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Proficient with a 10-key calculator by touch.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to accuracy.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer literacy required; proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Experience with AS/400 systems and Stratton Warren (SWS) a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role requiring mobility and strength:

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in warehouse and storage environments.
  • Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
