Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! The Spa Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the concierge, attendant and housekeeping teams on a daily basis. This includes facilitating trainings and providing support, creating employee shift schedules, and assisting with tasks.  The Spa Shift Supervisor demonstrates excellence in guest service and knowledgeability of all areas of the Spa.  This position has a focus on closing procedure accuracy to include financial reporting of spa concierge banks, housekeeping duties are complete and any engineering items are recorded.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the concierge, concierge and Housekeeping Teams, providing support and training as needed.
  • Proficiently utilize SpaSoft to book reservations and collect payments.
  • Facilitate VIP Reservations in Conjunction with VIP Hosts
  • Check in guests, verifying access and treatment schedules.
  • Uphold high standards of guest service.
  • Facilitate trainings and assist other supervisors.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Create employee shift schedules.
  • Ensure accurate Concierge Bank protocols and review any discrepancies prior to drop.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Assist with all projects assigned by Assistant Spa Director and Spa Director.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff, guests, equipment, or facilities requiring attention.
  • Other duties as assigned my management.

 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a spa concierge.
  • 3 years of experience in guest service
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with SpaSoft helpful.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be a team player.
