Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager of Receiving and Warehouse to oversee all aspects of inventory control, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of goods using the Stratton Warren System (SWS) to manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on warehouse experience, and deep familiarity with SWS in a hospitality or resort setting.

 

Shift: Days

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily receiving and warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of all goods.
  • Use Stratton Warren System (SWS) for receiving, inventory tracking, purchase order reconciliation, and stock transfers.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and initiate reorders in coordination with procurement.
  • Lead and train warehouse and receiving staff on procedures and SWS functionality.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental deliveries and ensure timely distribution of goods.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and audits; investigate and resolve variances.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Work closely with purchasing, finance, and operational departments to streamline inventory control.
  • Other duties as assigned my management. 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

 

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/receiving management, preferably in hospitality or food and beverage.
  • Hands-on experience with the Stratton Warren System and Microsoft excel is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various warehouse conditions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with resort or hotel operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily in a warehouse environment.
  • May require weekend, early morning, or late-night shifts depending on business needs.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the storage area.
